*A stone composed of fluorine and calcium. Gives out the fluorescence and phosphorescence when it is heated, and when it is exposed to the ultraviolet rays. Flourite is used as a jewel, and also an iron refining, a ceramic industry, an optical glass, and the raw material of fluorine and the hydrofluoric acid.

*Recently this gemstone is in the limelight so much as a healing-stone. This gemstone was named in 1977 from what was discovered at Iwaki island, Ehime in Japan by Sugi Kenichi who is a petrologist for the first time. Well, though the Sugilite in original mine is yellow green, the color of South African one is vivid purple or red purple because of including few manganese and those are processed to the gems.

*Ulexite is seemingly the mineral which isn't transparent, but when it is seen from a certain direction, it is the strange stone that it seems to be transparency. Moreover, it seems that a character floats when it looks through the ulexite from the top of the character and it is seen.. This stone is the mineral which contains boron of Ulexite, and much is discovered in salt Lake of the dryness area of the west coast in North America. The name is based on the discoverer's German chemist Ulex.

G.F.Kunz who is a mineralogist discovered it in 1902.

*This one is a crystal of sapphire having a little of (^^;) the orange color of "Padparacha" that is famous phantom gem in Sri Lanka. This sample seems to be not a Bicolor Sapphire and it belongs to the category of a Party-Colored Sapphire because of dispersed yellow. Well, though the gem with vivid pink orange in the market is called as Padparacha currently, this is a colored pottery's stone that is heated artificially and it has almost no worth. I think we seldom meet with real Padparacha.
