We have managed to overcome the extreme heat of 2025, which is thought to be caused by severe global warming, and by the middle of October, with the arrival of typhoons, the air has changed to a temperature that feels like autumn and winter, and the season is already changing from autumn to winter.
My autonomic nervous system has been disrupted due to the sudden changes in this season, and my body has been unable to keep up, but I hope everyone is doing well, including your physical condition.
Well, I joined Popcorn in November 2018, and it's been 7 years this year.
In the midst of all this, I apologize for the suddenness, but due to various circumstances including my physical strength and health, I have decided to leave Popcorn as of Friday, November 14th of this year.
I have been working at Popcorn for the past seven years, and I believe that this is all thanks to the support and help from Popcorn's Hina Mama, staff, and loyal customers. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you.
After leaving the store, I plan to retire from working at a restaurant and live a peaceful life in my hometown of Hiratsuka.
Thank you very much for all your warm support over the years.

About retirement
In my case, I have never achieved what is commonly called FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early).
However, I believe that by maintaining good health, and unless a financial crisis such as the Lehman Shock or other unforeseen circumstances occurs, by minimizing expenses and continuing to appropriately manage risk assets, especially US high-tech stocks, I may be able to get by in the future even if I have to draw down assets.*
At the moment, the situation is just on the edge, but in addition to ordinary deposits, we also took into consideration future national pension and employee pension payments, a corporate pension from when I worked at a joint venture with the Matsushita Electric Industrial Group (currently Panasonic), a personal pension from a life insurance company, risk assets such as securities held in investment trusts, etc., and we conducted our own simulation. Furthermore, based on the answers to the Google AI "Gemini" query (including detailed simulation results by Gemini), we have come to the conclusion that although certain conditions remain, it is possible to retire.
In the future, I would like to continue rehabilitation treatment for the finger injured in the fall accident, and gradually spend time doing things I have not been able to do before, such as traveling, hobbies, raising pets, and volunteering in my hometown, and live a stress-free and peaceful life.
