As mentioned in the article below, the toilet was renovated 7 and a half years ago (March 2018), but due to aging, the nozzle shutter and toilet seat cover of the shower toilet broke down, so this time we replaced it with a slightly higher grade shower toilet, New PASSO, including the Amage toilet with hand basin.
For this renovation, we selected LIXIL's Amage toilet (YBC-Z30S+YDT-Z380) and shower toilet New PASSO (CW-EA22AQC), which allow you to freely choose the combination of toilet bowl and shower toilet, and ordered them online and asked "Koukan-dekirukun" to install them.

"New PASSO" is LIXIL's high-performance shower toilet series, and is a model with excellent sterilization, deodorization, and comfort. Functions vary depending on the grade, ranging from EA21 to EA24, but the grade of the product I purchased this time is EA22AQC (model number: CW-EA22AQC), which is compatible with full automatic remote control for Amage toilets. Please note that models without "QC" at the end of the part number are manual handle types.
The reason why we chose the EA22AQC is that it does not have a "fully automatic toilet seat" function, which reduces the risk of breakdowns and makes cleaning easier, and that it has the minimum functions required for a high-performance model.

Regarding the payment method, I decided to pay by credit card. A local construction company has the advantage of being flexible, but the downside is that the only payment method is cash (bank transfer). I think a big advantage of paying by card is that you get points.
In addition, for exchangeable items, a "product/construction warranty'' will be given to you after the work is completed, and a 10-year free repair guarantee will be granted. By the way, shower toilets tend to break at some point within 10 years, so I think this is a good service.

If you specify pink for the color of the Amage toilet, it will be made to order, so delivery will take several weeks longer than usual, but in this case, the installation date was 18 days after the order was placed.
In addition, when I took a photo after construction, the color tone of the toilet bowl and shower toilet had changed to beige because the LED lighting in the toilet was bulb-colored. Therefore, I changed the LED lighting in the bathroom to daylight white and took the photo again. The original color of the toilet bowl is a cute pink, so if you want to enjoy the color, we recommend that you consider the lighting of the toilet if possible.
The daylight white color of an LED has a Kelvin value between that of an incandescent light bulb and daylight color, so if you want to produce colors faithfully, daylight color is better, but daylight color is too bright for bathroom lighting, so I think daylight white color is appropriate.
The "Amage toilet'' we replaced has been treated with aqua ceramic, so compared to the previous ``Amage Z,'' it is less likely to get dirty and easier to clean.
Also, the shower toilet "New PASSO" is a highly functional model, and compared to LIXIL's previous model "Shower Toilet CW-KA21QC", it is conveniently equipped with mild and dry modes, and the water flow from the instant/continuous shower head feels good, making it very comfortable to use!
Request for additional work (floor repair)
In fact, during this construction project, we received an important report from the construction staff.
The explanation was that the board supporting the toilet was corroded, and if left as is, it would only last for a few years at best, and in the worst case, the toilet could fall and damage the pipes below, so they strongly recommended that the floor be repaired if possible.
I'm having a headache due to the unexpected expense, but this issue was something that was raised as a concern by the person in charge of the last renovation, so I had no choice but to address it as soon as possible.
Therefore, we requested the following additional work (additional estimate) through the engineer in charge of Kakenerukun, in addition to the replacement work for the newly ordered range hood. Not only detached houses but also older condominiums require a lot of money to maintain.
