Breakfast at Momotai, a Thai restaurant in Shinjuku 2-chome (open 24 hours)

This Wednesday, after the popcorn business, Hina Mama and newcomer Mari-chan had breakfast at Momotai, a Thai restaurant in Shinjuku 2-chome.

Momotai seems to have moved from Shinjuku 3-chome to 2-chome, where it was previously open, and is now open 24 hours a day.
The gallery below shows the store's entrance and interior. Due to its 2-chome location, it was crowded with gay customers in the morning.

I chose Tom Yum Goong Ramen from the menu in the gallery below.

The noodles in Tom Yum Kung Ramen were "pho". The taste of the soup is rich and sweet. Herbs such as cilantro and fish sauce are also effective, and the spicy aroma will whet your appetite.

It feels like Thai home cooking. It had a mild flavor that wasn't too harsh, and it seemed to be tailored to a certain extent for Japanese people. I don't really like sweet dishes, but Thai food is generally sweet, such as green curry, so I can't help it.
As for my wishes, I would like the tom yam goong soup to be a little less sweet and more spicy 🙇‍♀️

I also got some of the gapao rice that Hina Mama ordered. The taste was relatively refreshing. Personally, I thought it would be better if it had a stronger flavor.

In any case, after I'm done with the restaurant, I've only been eating Chinese food so far, so I think it's good to try Thai food every once in a while for a different taste.
