Last Friday, we closed our popcorn business early, and Hina Mama and cast member Akira visited a gouty restaurant in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, and were treated to a gouty hot pot course.

The course is reserved and includes the following information:

I was surprised when I came after the restaurant opened and was unable to drink it, and suddenly I came out at the beginning of the course, but I was surprised to see that raw oysters (from Hirota, Iwate Prefecture) and sashimi (cold yellowtail, red sea bream) ) was excellent.
All of them were a parade of food that would be irresistible for drinkers.

The main course is gouty hotpot, where you can enjoy miso-based seafood hotpot made with oysters, bean paste, squid, red shrimp, and more.

What is Goutya?

"Taigouya" is an izakaya in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, where you can enjoy sake and seafood dishes. The specialty "Gut Hotpot" is particularly famous, and rich seafood hotpots are served, using oysters, liver bean paste, squid, and red shrimp, which contain a lot of purine.

All the seats in the restaurant are completely private, and it is a calm space that allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, it is perfect for entertaining, dinners, dates, and more.

In addition, you can also enjoy fresh oysters ordered from all over the country and a wide variety of sake. Gouto Hotpot is a homemade miso soup made from a paste of special miso and bean paste, and it has a rich flavor, and is definitely worth trying.

It was very tasty, but this course was full of heavy dishes with lots of purines.
Unfortunately, on the day, I had to drink tequila and hub sake at the restaurant, so I only had a little beer to drink and couldn't finish all of them.

If possible, I would like to eat sake next time when I'm sober.
If you take this lineup every day, you'll definitely get gout lol

Later, I checked the course on the official Goutya website and if you're looking for something refreshing, I personally think "A5-rank Kuroge Wagyu beef with 2 hours of all-you-can-drink, with special sea urchin dashi soup!" I thought so.

Incidentally, on this day, I left the gout restaurant and took Akira-chan (she doesn't play Go) to kill time until the first train at Shusaku, a go salon in Kabukicho, linked below.
