We had dinner at Fruits Bistro SABLIER, a bistro in Nihonbashi that combines seasonal fruits and French cuisine. After the meal, I watched the movie “Joker 2” on the late show at Shinjuku Wald 9.
In the summer of 2024, Shinjuku 2-chome Popcorn's comfort trip started from July 14th and took us to Sapporo, Susukino, and Otaru for 2 nights and 3 days. In Susukino, we toured the aquarium ``AOAO SAPPORO'' in Tanukikoji, enjoyed a cruise on the Otaru Canal in Otaru, and strolled through the Otaru Sakaimachi Dori shopping street, which is known for its historic buildings and quaint atmosphere.
At ``Kinbuta Kamadabashi Samgyeopsal'' in Shin-Okubo, which sells delicious pork from Kagoshima, we had Nungkomossal (samgyeopsal), kimchi stew, and seafood pancake.
I visited the Korean restaurant "Hongdaejumak" in Shin-Okubo for the first time, and had Chukobse (seafood hotpot), bulgogi pancake, and stone-grilled bibimbap.
There is also a private room on the second floor, so you can enjoy authentic Korean cuisine like a bar. There are over 15 types of pancakes, and you can also enjoy popular menus from affiliated restaurants.
I went to see the cherry blossoms alone at Shonandaira (Mt. Koma Park), a famous spot where you can enjoy the spectacular view of Shonan and cherry blossoms, and then returned home via Oiso on the hiking course of Mt. Koma Nature Trail.
On December 30th of last year, I went to see Ayumi Hamasaki's "Countdown Live 2023" held at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo as part of her first national tour to commemorate her 25th anniversary since her debut.
After finishing the popcorn service, Hina Mama and newcomer Mari-chan had breakfast at Momotai, a Thai restaurant in Shinjuku 2-chome. Momotai seems to have moved from Shinjuku 3-chome to 2-chome, where it was previously open, and is now open 24 hours a day.
We visited the "32nd Tokyo Mineral Show 2023" held at Sunshine City Cultural Hall in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The Tokyo Mineral Show is Japan's largest festival of minerals, fossils, meteorites, gemstones, and natural stone accessories, with over 500 companies participating.
On Sunday, October 8, 2023, I participated in the 26th Shonan Hiratsuka Go Festival 1000-sided competition and played a game of instructional Go (3 child games) with Yuto Tajiri, 5th Dan!
I visited "Tuesday Vaggy Room", a shop opened by Baby Vaggy only on Tuesdays in Shinjuku 2-chome.
